Role Purpose:
Casa Blanca Lounge located inside Casa de Montecristo by JR Cigar at Whippany is now hiring a Part-Time Food Prep Worker /Sandwich Maker. The candidates should have experience in making sandwiches, salads, and appetizers.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare simple dishes such as appetizers, salads and sandwiches
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash
- Perform routine kitchen tasks such as stocking workstations and putting away food orders
- Other duties assigned
Skills:
- Flexible working days, nights and weekends.
- Portion food and prepare for plating according to standards
- Follow health and safety rules in the kitchen
- A team player with good communication skills
- Patient with the ability to stay positive under pressure
- Attention to detail
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands, reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel or sit; the employee must frequently lift and/ or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to adjust focus.
