Prep/Line Cook (Part Time/Full Time

Local Sharon Hill is a take out restaurant is in need of a Prep/ BOH staff. We are looking for a Prep/Line cook for the Morning/ afternoon and or evening shifts.

We will teach you our menu.

Responsibilities include:

• Executing daily preparation for the starting line. This will include double checking what is needed from the day, including but not limited to cutting vegetables, cooking pasta, peeling sweet yams etc
• Prepare Frier dishes ( French fries, fish, wings etc). You will primarily work with the fryer menu.
• Learning to prepare high-quality dishes from our seasoned and well crafted menu.
• Inventory receiving and tracking - You will receive procurement orders and double check for accuracy.
• Clean out and change fryer oil as deemed necessary/ with flat top experience.
• Set up and stock station for daily kitchen operation
• Operate a clean and safe work environment.
• Food safety management.
• Close out and cleanup responsibilities.

Experience & Skills

• Proven work experience in a fast paced expedite kitchen
• Familiarity with Grill, Fryer, range and flat top experience desired.
• Inventory management
• Great communication and teamwork skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Night shift

Weekly day range:

• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Sharon Hill, PA 19079: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Cooking: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• ServSafe (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Night Shift (Preferred)
