Position 1: overseeing Centre County and Clearfield County caseloads (State College, Houtzdale, Philipsburg)

Position 2: overseeing Centre County and Clearfield County caseloads (Harmony, Mountaintop, Wingate, Howard, Port Matilda)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 44 weeks per year

General Description of Duties:

The Case Manager provides oversight to preschool program staff at the identified locations. Oversight occurs in the areas of education, disabilities, family and community partnerships and preventative mental health service areas. Parent Engagement and health/safety/nutrition involvement also occurs. This position includes regular classroom and center visitation and observations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Early Childhood Education or a bachelor’s or advanced and equivalent coursework in early childhood education with early education teaching experience.
• Management experience minimum 2-3 years
• Ability to multi-task and manage a variety of tasks

Specific Duties: Provider oversight in the following:

• Child Development: curriculum fidelity, classroom observations, classroom management and behavior management
• Family and Community Partnerships: home visits, social service support,
• Parent Engagement and Health/Safety and Nutrition: work closely with the parent engagement team and health/safety/nutrition team, support parent engagement opportunities, promote health, safety and nutrition services
• Preventative Mental Health-child observations, implementation of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) in classrooms.
• Complete annual performance appraisals
• Participate in program evaluations
• Classroom coverage as needed.
