Pumpkin Patch Preschool is a non-profit, Parent Cooperative preschool and childcare center located in Stoughton, WI.

We are looking for a lead teacher to work in our 4-5 year old classroom, 7:00am -3:30pm, Monday-Friday. Called the ‘Wrap Room’, this classroom is comprised of our 4K, and preschool children who require full day childcare to ‘wrap around’ their instructional day.

We are seeking creative, flexible, self-driven individuals who work well with children and work cooperatively with other staff. The candidate would be responsible for providing reliable, stable, caring, and nurturing care for children along with creating and implementing activities.

Candidate must meet licensing requirements set forth by with Wisconsin Department of Children and Families for early childhood professionals. Including but not limited to submitting to and passing a complete background check, completeing required Child Care classes or be willing to complete classes within 6 months of employment

Option to work school year, summer, and/or year round.

Pay dependant upon training and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
