About This Role
We have an immediate need for a Lead Consultant within the US Public Sector Professional Services organization. As a Lead Consultant, the individual will be primarily engaged on customer facing professional services engagements. Lead Consultants will oversee all aspects of projects, leveraging the consulting methodology to successfully design and implement complex solutions. The individual will plan and lead all aspects of customer engagements and lead a team of resources throughout all project phases. The person should be highly proficient in all core Citrix technologies, with a focus on the virtualization and networking platforms, including Citrix DaaS, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, and Citrix ADC.

Job Description
The Lead Consultant will be responsible for project execution of enterprise Citrix deployments.

• Proactively detects technical deficiencies and develops practical, workable solutions to problems.
• Establishes reputation as a technical expert with varying industry knowledge.
• Takes full responsibility for overall execution and delivery of critical tasks or projects.
• Helps team members, customers and stakeholders understand the connection between industry events/ trends and what is going on at Citrix.
• Leads by example on all aspects of work.
• Creates an environment where others feel it is safe to be open and candid, and where conflicting ideas and opinions are regularly discussed.
• Conveys the Citrix vision in very real and relevant terms that others can identify with, helping others see how things will improve as the “future state” draws near.

• Works with and through others to consistently break down barriers between departments.
• Works actively on mentoring and team development with more junior team members.
  

Position Qualifications

• This individual will support the US Public Sector team and currently hold (or be willing to obtain) an active security clearance.
• Willing to travel on-site to customer facility in Huntsville, AL.
• Strong knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix DaaS, and Citrix ADC.
• Capable of planning and leading all aspects of customer engagements.
• Excellent technical, problem solving and communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor.
• Positive attitude aimed at driving customer success.

Position Requirements

• Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Requires a minimum of 4 years of experience assessing, managing, and implementing Citrix solutions.
• Current Citrix or 3rd party certifications that demonstrate technical knowledge.
