- Bachelor's degree is required. MBA or MS in Computer Science or other Engineering Disciplines is preferred
- Deep knowledge in implementing contact centers, with 7+ years of industry experience
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional live and recorded content including public speaking and live demos in front of hundreds or thousands of people

You’ll play a crucial role in developing the next generation contact center, and get the opportunity to design and deliver scalable, resilient systems while maintaining a constant customer focus.
As an outbound Technical Product Manager on our team, you’ll engage directly with customers’ business and technical leaders, and work closely with senior leaders within the team and across AWS. To do this, you’ll have a sound understanding of computer science fundamentals and practical industry experience, working across the stack with technology involving modern web, databases, AI, ML, Big Data, and more. You must be able and excited to apply these skills to create ground breaking customer engagement and contact center experiences that inspire customers to adopt Amazon Connect.
You must be an exceptional public speaker and content creator, including demos environments, scripts, videos, podcasts, and presentations. You must be able to work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Partner teams in ways that build 1+1=3 outcomes.

Key job responsibilities
- Evangelize the product both internally and externally
- Build business and technical relationships with external customers
- Drive innovation across full suite of Connect and AWS technologies on behalf of our customers
- Identify market opportunities and drive and coordinate product strategy, roadmap, and features
- Deliver compelling live and recorded content as a public speaker and content creator including demos environments, scripts, videos, podcasts, and presentations
- Review and provide feedback and support to Sales, Marketing, and Partner teams projects in ways that build 1+1=3 outcomes.
- Influence internal service teams to deliver value for Amazon Connect customers
- This position requires a combination of experience in product management, solution design, machine learning applications, and software services. The key differentiator being sought is the ability to be a thought leader in a new technology-centric area. Strong candidates will have the following experience:
o Demonstrated ability to simplify complex technology for customers
o Impeccable communication skills for writing customer-centric documents that meld business and product strategy
o Ability to work with multiple disciplines – machine learning scientists, software developers, data specialists, contact center technologists, customer engagement business leaders.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $144,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $281,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
