The Lamoille South Unified Union School District is seeking a dynamic and compassionate leader to join a strong and positive team dedicated to the success of all learners. Stowe is a thriving and growing community that offers many recreational and educational opportunities. Stowe Middle School has an enrollment of approximately 200 students in grades 6-8, enabling strong interaction between students, staff, and the principal. We are currently seeking a dynamic and talented educator to lead our wonderful school.The successful candidate will have the following qualifications: - a dedication and commitment to the success of all learners; - strong knowledge pertaining to instructional leadership and experience at the middle school level; - expertise in proficiency based learning and multi-tiered systems of support (or a desire to learn); - commitment to supporting a collaborative, team-oriented atmosphere that provides a positive learning and working environment for all; - proven success building strong relationships with students, families, faculty, and staff; and - effective, proactive communication skills with students, parents, and all stakeholders. Candidates should submit a letter of interest, resume, and three current letters of reference. Application packets that are received by January 23, 2023, will be given preference. The positions start date is July 1, 2023.
