Job description

Tutor Doctor is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable tutor to work part-time on a contract basis. The ideal tutor for this student is someone who has teaching experience, is familiar with K-5 reading standards, can bring their own materials to the tutoring sessions, and can make the learning fun.

The student we are looking to match with a tutor is in 3rd grade but is in danger of being held back and needs support in reading/reading comprehension.

We are looking for someone who can work with this student consistently through the end of the school and through the summer, as well. The tutor would need to be patient, supportive, and skilled in differentiating instruction to meet the student's individual needs.

Finally, the tutor should be available to work for 1 hour/session 2 days/week after school hours.

• Must have teaching experience
• Expertise in teaching reading to young children
• Able to tutor in-person at Orinoco Road Spring Hill, FL 34613

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay

COVID-19 considerations:
This position requires in-home tutoring. Candidates must be willing to travel to client's home and provide tutoring services within the home.
