Birchwood Music Company is hiring apprentice private voice instructors who have a passion for teaching!

As an apprentice teacher you will receive continuing education and training at Birchwood by sitting in on other teacher's lessons, online training videos, open communication with our master teacher, and more.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor degree in music or working towards one
● Between 0-2 years of private lesson teaching experience
● Basic music theory and voice pedagogy knowledge
● A love of working one on one with all ages
● Fabulous communication skills
● You are able to meet your student where they are at on any given day

Characteristics:

● You are willing to have fun and play games during lessons and classes
● You enjoy the beautiful lightbulb moments that happen when your students figure out a new technique for the first time
● You like to think out of the box to keep your students engaged and entertained
● You are accepting of all genders, sexuality, religion, race, etc.
● You are able to create a safe space for each student to be uniquely themselves and make all the crazy sounds in their lesson or class

We will take care of everything on the back end including marketing, enrolling, scheduling, and all other admin work. All our instructors need to do is teach!

This is a part time W2 employee position.
