Job description

Provides nursing care through physical and mental assessments, laboratory testing, plans of care and therapeutic treatments. Knowledgeable of trauma and addictions as well as a wide range of disorders; cognitive, emotional, developmental, social and behavioral. Performs crisis intervention, as appropriate. Participates in the department's performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.

Responsibilities include:

• Ability to perform nursing assessments on all guests and reassessments per policy.
• Continuously observes guest's behavior, mental status and activities while in med building.
• Knowledgeable of medications, including psychotropic drugs, and their correct administration based on the age of the guest and their clinical condition.
• Documentation meets current standards and policies.
• Performs all aspects of guest care in an environment that optimizes guest safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.

Pay will be determined based on experience.

Pay: From $32.00 per hour
