Job Title: Process Engineer

Job Summary: Our client is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join their team. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for improving and optimizing the production process of products by utilizing your technical expertise and knowledge.

The company evolved from a converter of industrial and protective packaging to a manufacturer of consumer products. Products are used in wood working, metal finishing, paint, drywall, plastic, ceramic, auto body and solid surface trades.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and maintain process control procedures to ensure the highest quality of products are manufactured in a timely and efficient manner
• Identify and troubleshoot process-related issues to minimize downtime and improve productivity
• Continuously improve manufacturing processes by utilizing your technical expertise in manufacturing and knowledge of industry trends and advancements
• Analyze production data and trends to identify areas for improvement and recommend process changes to enhance product quality, efficiency, and safety
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality control, and maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of the manufacturing process
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or Plastics Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in plastics, foam or chemical manufacturing and process engineering
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment
• Experience in process control and optimization, quality control, and root cause analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Pay: $72,547.12 - $87,368.57 per year
