Job description

Tasks are as follows (but not limited to):

Work with estimating, projects, and business development departments to strengthen and expand our procurement area including, but not limited to, relationships with vendors, partners, and subcontractors, both existing and new as needed.

· Execute and manage company’s projects related to the purchasing and procurement departments: budgets, assets, insurance, vendors, partnerships, subcontractor relationships, and QuickBooks daily transactions.

· Building the foundation and packages for new accounts aimed at vendors and subcontractors.

· Direct management of quoting processes in all aspects, placing orders, tracking incoming/outgoing materials and shipping areas.

· Guide team in order to maintain company financial analysis and financial accounts related to procurement.

· Being a part of various initiatives spanning multiple departments and working well with administrative staff and department managers.

· Building and analyzing project results according to department budgets/requirements (trends, performance metrics, benchmarking).

· Assessing potential risks for materials and cost involved in each company project.

· Key member in organizing new project initiatives for procurement needs – research and understanding government regulations related to small businesses.

· Develop and maintain QMS (Quality Management System) documentation for the purchasing and procurement department.

· Conduct review meetings with Project Leads to become familiar with the project scope, schedule and budget at various phases of development.

· Review project plans, requirements and specifications as per procurement needs.

· Budget costs by looking at the entire project materials and resources needed.

· Perform company procurement audits along with reports for management.

· Support other new or ongoing projects as necessary; including design, implementation, training, and follow-up as needed.

· New projects research and business needs for procurement regulations in exportation and importation.

· Scrum board management for purchasing and procurement departments.

· Maintains and monitors shared mailbox for purchasing and procurement department.

· Manage any needs for quality assurance with all external POC’s and accounts handled.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Procurement: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Driver License (Preferred)
