Below listed are the general job duties and functions that you will perform on a daily basis:

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manages inventory to ensure selection, freshness, and availability of products.
• Follows procedures for effective inventory control.
• Effectively implements promotional programs, merchandising and pricing plans.
• Handles customer questions or requests for information about the various meat products the store sells.
• Ensures company and government standards for safety, proper food handling practices and sanitation are maintained.
• Maintains freshness standards for product and ensures proper execution of culling and throws.
• Monitors cooler and display area temperatures to ensure product quality is maintained. Report refrigeration issues including any failure to supervision immediately.
• Ensures that department shelves, displays and storage areas are in clean, orderly condition, meeting health department and company standards.
• Ensures the department is well maintained and meets or exceeds company standards for appearance.
• Is responsible for maintaining inventory levels that meets the goals for product waste.
• Ensures correct ordering, receiving, unloading, storage, and rotation of merchandise in coolers and on display.
• Stands 100% of working shift
• Able to lift up to 70lbs on a consistent basis.
• Provide excellent customer service
• Works in a safe manner, understanding safety comes first in the workplace
• Can safely use a box knife to cut boxes
• Can Multi task
• Has a willingness to learn.
• Able to work weekends, evenings and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
