We manage the technology tools that allow the Marketing team to focus on Marketing. Application Owners are the bridge between technology, compliance, marketing and the external vendors that enable utilization of these best in class tools.
The team works closely with Chase marketing business units to understand consumer needs and business priorities. Those priorities can range from adhoc requests to participation in project planning or implementation of new Marketing Technology applications. Part of that planning process is to understand the scope and capability requirements from the business partner while considering all technology and control requirements to be able to fully utilize the solution within the Chase network.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Risk Control teams as Application Owner for break remediation planning and Software Development Lifecycle controls.
- Assist in application troubleshooting with third party vendor and internal teams when necessary and address compliance and technology issues as needed.
- Be the technical point of contact for the application and bridge between Marketing, Technology, Compliance and the vendor.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal (business and technology team members) and third-party vendors.
- Lead improvements to your assigned applications ranging from those impacting access controls, to user experience, to security among others.
Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:
- Comfortable with change within an evolving process.
- Technology processes and application development experience helpful.
- Ability to lead and influence policy, establish best practices, and define standards.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with access administration requirements.
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
- Detail oriented with proven ability to question assumptions and identify opportunities within existing practices.
Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities:
- Critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with IT control processes around Risk and Compliance.
- Confident project management capabilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable presenting to executive audiences.
- Ability to influence and collaborate across organizations, demonstrates leadership.
