Product Inspector

Job Purpose:
To inspect and be responsible for executing or monitoring repair of customers’ wire rope, chain, and synthetic slings as well as rigging hardware, and to make sure the products meet applicable standards and regulations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Schedule and perform regular inspections—primarily at customer’s site
- Reject all products and material that fail to meet the standards and regulations
- Document inspection results using iPad and inspection software, or other documentation as required
- Document inspections outcomes
- Document and track required repairs
- Develop cost estimates for required repairs
- Execute and complete required repairs or coordinate (repairs by others) required repairs
- Complete proof test or coordinate proof tests as required
- Perform other functions as required
Job Requirements:
- Attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Possess a strong mechanical aptitude
- Strong understanding of quality control
- Quality control experience preferred
- Posses a keen sense of urgency and the ability to juggle priorities
- Must possess a high school diploma or technical school involving a mechanical trade.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical, and background check.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
