Envision Your Experience
The Product Manager, Core Math is responsible for the strategic roadmap to bring impactful, efficacious products to market, while also meeting key business objectives. This leadership role bridges curriculum, product development, marketing, and sales to inform the strategic product plan.
Position Type: This is a regular, full-time position.- Location: In this US-based position your location will be remote.
- Travel: You can also expect to travel up to 15%, so be sure you have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance and a clean driving record for at least the preceding 39 months.

Share Your Expertise
Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:
- Manage IM K-12 products through their full lifecycle, working closely with results-oriented product and cross-functional teams.
- Help to build a product vision and communicate that vision to internal stakeholders, including strategy related to state adoptions, pricing bundles, sampling, and open territory/large-district opportunities.
- Lead communication and product support with sales and marketing, working with internal production, design, technology, and academic design teams to shape and develop deliverables that will drive success of the product in the marketplace.
- Use qualitative and quantitative data to help inform product direction and decisions and facilitate purposeful feedback gathering initiatives with internal and external customers to inform product priorities.
- Gather information about buyer and user needs through interviews and customer visits as well as product analytics tools, keeping product development informed of evolving customer needs.
- Contribute to product launch and ongoing support with sales and marketing to shape and develop deliverables that will drive success of the product in the marketplace.
- Research industry trends, competitive intelligence, and market behaviors to develop well informed backlogs and roadmaps and identify trends related to product needs and potential new buy, build, or partner opportunities.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, business, or engineering and 3+ years of product experience in an education-related or technology field; or a combination of education and experience.
- Think differently and bring disruptive innovative concepts and ideas forward.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to make complex topics clear.
- Ability to work independently but also operate efficiently and effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Enjoy spending time in the market to understand their problems and to find innovative solutions
- Passion for products, technology, business, and user experience.
- Leadership ability to inspire teammates while steering products in the best possible direction.
- Self-motivation and a strong desire to make an impact in K-12 education.
