Product Quality Leader
Department : Product Quality (BP49420)


Mission:
Secure high product quality performance for Quester, Croner and Kuzer by investigating, prioritizing and solving product quality issues. Secure the voice of the customer in the problem-solving processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Search, detect and quantify customer quality issues at an early stage through Quality Reporting System (QRS), Service Request, Travel Reports, Warranty Database, Part Return, alert from Operations, Sales, Technology & Purchasing etc.
  • Prioritize pre-investigation for customer quality issues based on criticality to the business.
  • Be accountable for ARGUS (QR), Market Quality Report (MQR) / Dealer Quality Report (DQR) / Failure Information Report (FIR)
  • Collect supportive data and connect to quality solving process accordingly
  • Order defective parts for preliminary analysis together with the cross-functional team
  • Compile facts to describe the customer effect & problems
  • Lead a cross-functional team with Technology, Sales, Operations & Purchasing
  • Secure cross functional resources
  • Identify potential safety related issue in FIR/MQR/DQR and communicate to Product Safety Manager
  • Recommend solving process (QJ, QSP, Q-PMR, Task Force, Red card, etc.)
  • Lead Solving process (QJ / PIL) to cross functionally drive toward the solution
  • Initiate, coordinate and prioritize quality actions with Technology, Operations, Purchasing and Sales
  • Actively search for rapid containment actions to the field & production
  • Ensure communication on product quality or on customer satisfaction within Technology, Operations, Sales and Purchasing
  • Be QJ Responsible and comply with the connected process instructions
  • Drive necessary actions for aftermarket solution implementation
  • Prepare and present business case at appropriate forums for approval of the solution
  • Contribute to long term quality roadmap
  • Collaborate within the global quality network

Minimum qualifications

Engineering Graduate with 10-12 years’ experience
Project Management experience in area of field quality
Working knowledge of commercial vehicle systems / components
Good market & customer application knowledge in emerging markets
Knowledge and experience in the Commercial Vehicle Industry
Customer focus
Excellent Statistical and analytical skills
Knowledge of Quality Tools
Excellent communication skills
Fluent in English both written and spoken
Cross functional leadership
Self-motivated
Team player
Have a high personal integrity.
Multitasking and the ability to handle multiple topics at the same time
Ability to work in multi-cultural environment
Ability to challenge other organizations and status quo for targets achievement
Solving quality issue process knowledge
Systems knowledge (QRS, Kola, Impact, Argus, JIRA, etc.)
Ability to quickly gain credibility and establish positive relationships / networking
