Our Fort Recovery Egg Division in Mercer and Darke counties in Ohio, provides quality table and liquid eggs to consumers near and far. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 2nd shift Production/Sanitation team member to join our Liquid Egg Products team in Fort Recovery.

SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday 4:30pm-3:00am

STARTING HOURLY RATE: $17.25 with the potential of increasing $17.55 after 90 days.

All training will be provided. Job functions include:

Loader/Material Handler:

• Lift stacks of flats of eggs on to the loader conveyor efficiently
• Dispose of inedible product in correct containers when needed.

Candler:

• Recognize and remove any unacceptable eggs.

Breaker:

• Recognize and remove any inedible product in the cups.

Scanner:

• Recognize and remove any eggs that could create contamination due to defects.

Sanitation:

• Be responsible for completing and documenting the duties outlined on the Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Scheduled Cleaning.
• Be responsible for labeling, mixing, handling and proper usage of cleaning chemicals.
• Be responsible for wearing proper PPE when using chemicals or cleaning supplies.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time and climb ladders and stairs when necessary
