Machine: Operator – Production
Position: Machine Operators: Production
Location: Ormond Beach, FL

Report: Production Supervisor

– Production associate functions included, but not limited to:
−Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment

−Experience in a food manufacturing environment is a plus

−Perform necessary per-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment

−Operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops

−Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials−Housekeeping and sanitation

−Process product on machines on the production floor, from raw materials through finished product. Stations include Bag dump, Extrude, Extrude,Shred, Cook, Tumble Seasoner, Freeze and Package goods.

−Follow Future Foods operating procedures and quantity/quality expectations.

−Be attentive to equipment operation

−Practice safe work habits, recognize and act on safety risks

−Maintain a clean and organized work station

− You will be required to be fully trained under supervision prior cooperating and machinery. This will include: set up, breakdown, cleaning,general operational maintenance, feed and discharge systems,emergency preparedness, and lock out / tag out procedures.

−You will be cross trained and likely work multiple stations on a rotating basis
−Mechanical ability

−Fluency in English

−Warehouse and manufacturing setting, fast-paced environment
−Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb ladders and stairs, stand,walk, and turn/pivot walking on uneven and concrete floors throughout the duration of the workday.
−Able to lift to 50lbs
−Variable temperatures and humidity
Education / Certifications preferred
−HS diploma
−1-year food production or factory experience

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
