Marvin Composites in Roanoke is a proud member of the Marvin Family of Companies. We design and manufacture fiberglass-reinforced plastics through an innovative process called pultrusion. Pultruded materials are an ideal replacement for traditional building materials in many applications - we are proud to be the world leader in pultrusion!
Position:
Pultrusion Inspectors - This position inspects finished goods as they come off the manufacturing line, prepares shipping labels, and packs products. Responsibilities include operating fabrication equipment, monitoring product quality to ensure customer specifications are met and preparing equipment/materials for production runs. Once trained, provide mentoring and training to new associates. Basic math and computer skills are required.
Requirements:
- Outstanding attendance
- An ability to think and learn on the job, effective communication skills and basic computer skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and reach for 12 hour shifts
- Ability to successfully pass a basic skills assessment
Benefits
Schedule:
Day: 6:30 am - 6:45 PM
Work 7 out of 14 days every two weeks. Every other weekend is a 3 day weekend off!!
Pay:
Earn an effective hourly wage of $20.60-22.95 /hr. Pay for Experience if applicable!
Base: $18.75-20.30/hr (M-Thu)
Weekend Premium: +$2.00/hr (Fri-Sun)
