JOB DESCRIPTION: Production Associate / Installer

Image360 Gurnee is looking for a highly motivated, detail oriented and creative person who enjoys variety to work in a fast paced environment. The ability to work with your hands and learn to use tools proficiently is crucial.

This position is responsible for vinyl cutting and weeding, sign fabrication, and light duty installation. You must read and follow work instructions, take pride in your work, and understand the importance of exceptional customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Follows a layout to place cut vinyl or full color graphic images

Inspects jobs for accuracy before sending them to the plotter or printer

Loads materials and operates large format printers, laminators and vinyl cutters

Prepares substrates for application

Applies vinyl graphics to various substrates, windows, walls and vehicles

Establishes and maintains effective team relationships

QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS

High school diploma or GED required; advanced education degree preferred

Valid driver's license with good driving record

Very strong attention to detail

Must know how to interpret dimensions and read a tape measure.

Must be able to lift 50 or more pounds and have the flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back and forth hand motions to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate

Friendly - positive attitude

Prompt, reliable and responsible

Experience applying vinyl wraps to vehicles is a big plus. Ability and willingness to learn this skill set is important.

Experience in graphic design, knowledge of Onyx or Flexi RIP software, and the ability to speak Spanish are all pluses.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
