Production Coordinator SHIFT: 1st
POSITION SUMMARY
Assists the Supervisor to facilitate effective operation of their assigned group. Provides leadership and direction to production associates. Maintains daily production schedules and ensures safety, quality and production requirements are met. Tracks and coordinates department manpower and materials to achieve production requirements. Position reports directly to the Supervisor.

- Compliance with local, state and federal rules and regulations
- Specialty Vehicle Manufacturing Environment
SKILLS
- Communication skills – verbal and written
- Coordinate with supervision and other groups
- Read and accurately follow schedules, blue prints and diagrams
- Reporting and documentation
- Correct use of various equipment
- Work independently with limited instruction
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Lifting as appropriate for their group and associates
- Squatting/bending/kneeling/twisting
- Walk and move about – as required
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
- Safety glasses with side shields
- Steel toe or approved safety toe work shoes
- Housekeeping
- Other department/job specific Personal Protective Equipment as required
EDUCATION
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent relevant experience
