Production Manager
Job description
Our client, an international trade show provider in Franklin Lakes, NJ, is seeking a Technical Production Manager to join their team.
The primary responsibilities is to oversee production as well as monitor and maintain full accountability for the shop(warehouse). This will include construction, service, warehouse, metal (welding), Carpentry, Painting, Carpet, Furniture, Electrical dept, Graphics dept. CNC etc., overseeing the Production of each dept Supervisor(s)and shop personnel.
Essential Duties:
- Associate’s degree in Business Administration/Operations-focused, Exhibit Engineer or related study and/or (5) or more years of leadership /supervisory experience required.
- Hands on knowledge of exhibit construction or fixtures/cabinetmaking/millwork trades.
Responsibilities include coordinating work load, monitoring quality of workmanship, and determining product types and quantities necessary for projects. The Production Manager must cultivate and promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of supervision experience in Trade show
- AutoCAD Proficiency
- Detailed build drawings, specification and set up drawings
- Drawing maintenance including updates and revision documents
- Research and development of new build methods and specialized 3D projects
- Assist in developing support documents
- File management / project archiving
The compensation for this position ranges from $120,000.00 - $150,000.00. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the specific role, office location as well as the individual’s qualifications, experience, skills and certifications.
