2nd Shift Production Supervisor

Direct

Hours: 3pm - 11:30pm

Rate: 75K - 80K.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Safety on the production floor

- Establish, follow and enforce standards and Procedures to comply with all government safety regulations

- Maintain a healthy work environment for all production areas

- Maintain compliance with all environmental regulations

- 5S’s

- Manage the workforce and equipment that is part of the Production Area

- Assigning responsibilities to production employees

- Supervising and monitoring employees

- Schedule the work force in an efficient manner(Std hours vs Planned)

- Work with Planning to meet all delivery commitments

- Track and continuously improve production efficiency

- Coordinate maintenance of production equipment

- Interview, evaluate and hire production personnel

- Create, administer, and keep records of shop floor activity

- Develop, train, and coach the workforce

- Responding to, documenting, and executing disciplinary action for violations of company policy

- Executing the production plan with 100% adherence to all Quality measures

- Do not accept, do not Produce, do not send a defective product philosophy

- Nurture a Quality Mindful mindset at every stage of production

- Quality Gates track record and release process together with a quality inspector

REQUIREMENTS:

- 3-5 years of experience leading in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Proficiency in MS Office

- Ability to lead a team

- Problem-solving skills

- Strong analytical skills. Data-driven and result-driven approach

- Ability to take ownership

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to work long hours

- Ability to stand for long periods of time

PREFERRED:

Background in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering

ERP software experience

Experience with Six Sigma, Lean, 5S, etc.

Experience with CNC, Laser, Printing, or Plastics manufacturing processes.
