Job description

Responsibilities:

• Develop, modify, and design software applications based on requirements/design specifications
• Participate in requirements analysis and help design applications based on system requirements
• Promote top code quality and solve meaningful issues related to performance tuning and scalability
• Build enhancements within existing applications to optimize efficiency
• Support implementation of software application changes with aggressive deployment timelines

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
• 4-5 years of experience with coding practices and languages (such as Java, C/C++, JavaScript, web development)
• Knowledge of Agile software development project methodologies preferred
• Demonstrated analytical ability and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Organized, ability to meet deadlines, work independently, manage multiple priorities

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $71,658.42 - $86,298.31 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• McLean, VA 22101: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
