Bilco Corporation has been in business since 1955 and is the largest independent brick manufacturer in Texas with an annual production capacity of more than 100 million bricks. Bilco through the years has diversified to incorporate various concrete block(s) for the commercial construction industry, concrete products for the foundation repair industry, various colored sand products, as well as distributing natural stone products and masonry supplies. Bilco also has a specialty truck hauling division.

Job Description – Production Line - Entry

The production line employee will report to the line supervisor and be a part of a systematic team for culling, stacking and cubing brick products, this is a hands-on position in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• You will be trained on quality control (good vs. bad product).
• You will be hands on using a shovel and broom to keep your work area clean of debris.
• You will need to have stamina to stand for long periods of time.
• You will need to be tolerant to the climate conditions (hot in the summer and cold during the winter).
• You will be working in a fast-paced environment, while adhering to the safety regulations established by the company - mandatory.
• You must have reliable transportation to work.
• You must be a very responsible as the company has very strict attendance policies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Basic mathematic (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
• Be able to work in heat/cold.
• Responsible professional with a strong work ethic
• Takes pride in work and possesses attention to detail.
• Can work in a fast – paced environment.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Must be able to lift up to 25-50 lbs

Hourly compensation - starting at $15+/hour
