Manages key initiatives/program areas with assigned program. The primary duties include developing and managing the program work plans, building partnerships, and implementing and evaluating program strategies. Facilitates group or coalition meetings and creates and delivers on grant deliverables and program content. Collaborates with Community Health & Education leadership in strategy development and Implementation planning. Monitors state and national models of partnership across business, community and healthcare sectors, offering guidance where there are opportunities to align with best practices. Engages with schools and community partners, seeking out strategic opportunities for collaboration and alignment with grant/contract and CW priorities.
The Injury Prevention and Death Review Project Manager works with local child death review and fetal infant mortality review teams to review infant and child deaths for the purposes of preventing future deaths. The Project Manager also leads and manages related statewide projects, such as, safe sleep education and training, CDC data collection and surveillance, other injury prevention efforts, and assist the data project manager with managing the State Child Death Review Council. The Project Manager works collaboratively as a member of the Alliance’s Maternal Child Health (MCH) team to effectively manage all programs prescribed in the Alliance’s MCH grant. The Project Manager creates and conducts trainings, facilitates meetings and establishes collaborative relationships with a diverse group of partners. including multiple state agencies, health care systems, and statewide organizations to impact public policy, access to care and quality health outcomes.
Licensure, Registration and/or Certification
Requires valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, minimum liability insurance coverage and the ability to be insured by the CHHS auto insurance carrier.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in education, human services, health care management or related field required.
Experience
Requires 3 years of community outreach, community education, cross system collaboration, early and middle childhood education or related experience
Experience in grant management or monitoring required

Effective communication skills, including conflict resolution, critical thinking and the ability to clearly state purpose and process of the program.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Normal office environment where there is no reasonable potential for exposure to blood or other high risk body fluids.
Remote work and/or work in the community may be required.
Preferred Job Requirements
Licensure, Registration and/or Certification
Project management certification preferred.
Education
Master’s degree related field preferred.
