Job Summary


Department-Specific Responsibilities

  • Applies a working understanding of healthcare education state, federal, and accreditation requirements, university policies, programmatic requirements, FERPA, and other regulatory guidance to achieve operational flow that demonstrates effectiveness and efficiency among School of Nursing and Health Sciences programs.
  • Collects data to support school, university and accreditation requirements. Provides reports demonstrating assessment and achievement of program outcomes for all programs to meet school, university and accreditation requirements.
  • Ensures compliance with all school and programmatic requirements and accuracy/completeness of all students, faculty, and staff records
  • Manages the school’s catalog of policies, procedures, forms and associated materials to meets accreditation standards; and maintains accreditation files; conducts regular reviews of materials to ensure all are current.
  • Oversees ongoing implementation and maintenance of programmatic software use.
  • Maintains currency for School of Nursing and Health Sciences webpage as well as school related social media sites.
  • Supports the Dean’s office regarding special projects.

General Responsibilities

  • Responds to requests for program information by staff, students, and faculty; handles any necessary correspondence.
  • Maintains records of program activities; oversees and ensures the timely processing and delivery of required materials.
  • Conducts research and compiles materials and information in support of program.
  • Collects and helps to analyze data and information generated or produced by program; writes reports and other written materials based on this data.
  • Coordinates event planning related to program, while working with a wide range of people (university administrators, faculty, students, and vendors).

EDUCATION

Required

  • High school diploma or GED

WORK EXPERIENCE

Required

  • 2 years of related work experience

Working Conditions / Demands


This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
