Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Senior Program Manager to join our Charlottesville, Virginia, office and help us create unique solutions to complex problems.

The Program Manager will direct program management functions for our teams involved with both custom software development and digital modeling and simulation activities. The position will have duties for planning, tracking, and execution of complex tasking within technical, schedule, and budget constraints. The program involves creating software to emulate a diverse range of technologies including electronics; radars and passive detectors; wireless communications; guidance, navigation and control; air defense artillery; powered and unpowered projectiles; and C4ISR systems. The Program Manager will interact with customers both locally and out of town and help manage a distributed workforce that is dispersed across multiple Dynetics locations.

Basic Qualifications

• Candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institute.
• Candidates will have a strong technical background in defense systems (or subsystems) with at least 8 years of relevant work history in Engineering and Program Management.
• Candidate will have strong verbal and written skills along with a solid practical knowledge of working within the Government contracting environment.
• Candidate will have strong management credentials, good organizational skills, attention to detail, and effectively convey expectations to staff.

Candidate will be a resident of Charlottesville VA or be willing to relocate to the Charlottesville VA area.

Other Qualifications

• A Masters Degree or Doctoral degree is a plus but is not required.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Current active DOD clearance is a plus

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Top Secret/SSBI Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Final Top Secret Clearance.
