Eaton’s AER MSD Mission System Division division is currently seeking a Program Manager. This is a Hybrid-Remote role (2 days from home after initial training period) based out of our Orchard Park, New York location. Relocation assistance is available from within the United States.


The Orchard Park facility has approximately 400 employees and is a leader in the design, manufacture, and test of high precision Aerospace components.


The expected annual salary range for this role is $101250.0 - $148500.0 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

The Program Manager will be responsible for leading and managing programs to deliver the agreed scope within planned quality, time and cost parameters to satisfy the specified requirements and drive for customer and stakeholder satisfaction. This position will also motivate the whole team to deliver the business case and margins expected.

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver program to agreed time, cost, quality and benefits parameters
  • Direct, motivate and provide leadership for the project and broader program team
  • Organize, coordinate and direct the program activities
  • Ensure effective and open communication throughout the program team and with stakeholders
  • Lead the project team planning efforts and resolve resource conflicts across projects
  • Manage relationships with key customer personnel
  • Set up and operate the governance for the program

Qualifications:


Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience managing Projects and/or Programs including one throughout the full lifecycle
  • Experience in managing $1MM+ programs.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee

Preferred:


  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing Projects and/or Programs including one throughout the full lifecycle
  • Master’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration
  • Experience managing $5MM+ programs
  • Experience with Program Management practices including work breakdown structure, scheduling, resource management, risk management, cost account management, cost estimating, and planning
  • PMI PMP certification
  • Proven success of on-time/ budget project delivery
