The Clinical Operations team at CAREMOUNT MEDICAL enables patients to be treated in an environment combining an expert medical team with individual attention and compassionate care. The Program Manager works collaboratively with the members of the Clinical Operations team and is responsible for the oversight of assigned program.
Including, but not limited to, application preparation, project management of program participation, conducting meetings and planning communications to the CareMount community about the program involvement.
The Program Manager is an integral part of CAREMOUNT MEDICAL care team and our approach to delivery of patient-centered, compassionate medical care, complementing the necessary professional services to patients.
Program Management
- Develop and communicate project goals and deliverables
- Prepare project and program specific plans, outlining and defining project related tasks, responsibilities, dependencies and timelines
- Oversee the execution of program related projects – ensuring that project activities are achieving Program Milestones
- Coordinate and communicate the activities/tasks of all project team members
- Identify, document and assist in remediation to all project related issues and risks
- Communicate the status of each project. Ensuring key stakeholders are aware of timeline, scope and open risks/issues
- Managing conflict between individual project groups
- Organize, schedule and proctor program related meetings
- Prepare and manage program budget detailing hard and soft costs
- Identifying and evaluating all resource requirements for the program(s)
- Determine timelines and deliverables for each project
- Facilitate decision making regarding the program
Leadership
- Maintains a high level understanding of business process and drivers
- Work with Business owners and assist them with identifying and discussing options available to them to achieve their objectives
- Coordinate and lead team meetings to ensure proper communication and prioritization is conveyed
- Encourage teamwork through cooperative interaction with co-workers
Process Improvement
- Publish process and procedures that are required to establish a highly predictable and repeatable operation
- Participated in the development of standards, tools, methodologies, processes, and procedures
- Provides guidance to team members regarding standards, tools, methodologies, processes and procedures
- Perform all other duties and responsibilities as requested by Supervisor
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Business, Project Management or Healthcare related program required
- 5+ years of experience in project management, operations, Healthcare and/or Information Technology
- Ability to work with, understand, and appreciate end user workflow
- Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities and schedule activities
- Proven solid written and oral communications skills
- Proven excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to be self-directed, self-motivated, and a self-starter able to work with minimal supervision

- Master’s degree from an accredited Business, Project Management or Healthcare related program
- Information systems experience
- Clinical informatics and/or analytical experience

The salary range for New York City residents is $67,800 to $133,100. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
