Who We Are:

Leading edge technology developer for advanced Electronic Warfare systems to support US DoD customers. Innovative research opportunities available in exciting areas like Cognitive EW applications as well as Ultra Wideband Receiver technology. This position is located in Warner Robins GA.

Objectives of this Role:
  • Join our Advanced Electronic Warfare Department to manage the research, development, integration, test, document, and manufacture of complex Electromagnetic Spectrum DoD systems.
  • Will be required to travel to other SwRI sites and/or customer sites.
  • Individual will evaluate and provide recommendations to the Director regarding process and/performance improvements related to his/her area of responsibility.
  • As the Program Manager, manage the cost, schedule and performance of assigned complex EW programs.
  • Perform typical PM tasks such as: Create and manage to Integrated Master Schedules, manage program budgets, manage CDRL’s, interface with/present to senior management, and act as the primary interface to customers.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
  • Manage small and/or large programs as a Program Manager.
  • Manage engineering teams of differing skill sets to develop, document, integrate, and test complex EW systems while managing the schedule, budget, EVMS, CDRL’s, and customer expectations of the project.
  • Present program status to senior management at least monthly.
  • This manager will be responsible for a portfolio of programs and will manage, and direct other program managers executing that portfolio to ensure cost, schedule and performance compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Lead Bid and Proposal efforts as well as support business development/marketing efforts.
  • Individual must have previous demonstrated performance of leading large teams to execute complex technical programs to successful completion.
  • Manage Risks and Opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Requires an Masters in Electrical Engineering
  • 10+ years years: Electrical Engineer with MSEE
  • 10+ years years: Engineering R&D and PM experience
  • 5+ years years: Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams from complex development programs through test, production, and deployment
  • Experience managing customer expectations and with customer negotiations. Includes managing subcontractor performance.
  • 5+ years years: Experience within Systems, Software, Firmware, and/or Hardware engineering development and test.
  • Experience leading complex EW development, including creating MS Project Integrated Master Schedules, managing through metrics and earn value, performing financial analyses
  • A valid/clear driver's license is required
Special Requirements:

Work assignment is in Warner Robins, Georgia. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
