The College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP) at the University of Cincinnati invites applications for a full-time (100% FTE) Program Manager in the The Myron E. Ullman, Jr. School of Design.

Job Overview
The Program Manager provides critical program management and administrative services to students, faculty, and staff at the College of DAAP's Myron E. Ullman, Jr. School of Design (SOD). They oversee SOD's day-to-day operational responsibilities, such as course scheduling, managing budget expenditures within approved SOD budget, offer support to faculty in preparation for their courses, as well as support of classroom and virtual needs of SOD faculty and students, interact and serve as a liaison for SOD with College and University offices, students, and external partners. In addition, the program manager will develop operation standards and procedures in partnership with the School Director, and in alignment with DAAP and UC jurisdiction and policies.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable managing multiple projects, working with strong teams, completing administrative tasks, and handling detailed financial information. Candidates should be comfortable with learning and utilizing university systems such as Handshake, CART, Catalyst, etc. Candidate will also need to be proficient in Excel and be comfortable using collaborative, cloud-based file storage platforms such as OneDrive. Essential Functions
- Develop and manage projects/programs; establish and carry out related goals and objectives.
- Implement policies and procedures.
- Recruit and support adjunct and graduate student instructors for SOD courses.
- Act as liaison to internal departments, external entities, and community organizations; serve on appropriate committees.
- Maintain, analyze, and interpret data and research as it relates to the program and develop ideas based on this research.
- Support Graduate Program by coordinating the admissions process, providing scholarship selection support, assisting with student orientation and registration, as well as serving as Graduate Coordinator back up.
- Provide financial administrative support for program initiatives. This involves but not limited to maintain budget, approve and monitor expenditures, prepare budget requests and financial reports, coordination of contracts and request for payments, ordering office supplies, purchasing card transaction.
- Develop, administer, and analyze assessment/evaluation questionnaires. Compile statistics and prepare reports.
- Utilize student information systems such as Catalyst, Slate, CART to assist program operations.
- Assist in the preparation of course orders, textbook orders, and course maintenance, including adding, dropping, and modifying course orders and their criteria as needed.
- May prepare and edit reports and/or newsletters and develop publication and social media materials.
- May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.).

Required Education
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Required Experience
- Three (3) years of relevant experience.

- Experience working within academic setting.
- Ability to work independently and problem solve to meet task deadlines.
- Experience in project management.

- Competitive salary range of $49,000 - $51,000 dependent on the candidate's experience.
