Overview:
Vectrus is seeking a full-time Human Resources Performance Description (PD) Writer to support our client, the Defense Security Cooperation University in Washington, DC. This exciting opportunity will be a rewarding chance to learn and support our country in the Security Cooperation enterprise. This position is a temporary position 6-8 months in length. This position is eligible for telework from remote locations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development and refinement of DSCU GS Position Descriptions.
- Assist with the development of DSCU Organizational Table 30s to be shared with DLA to build DSCU’s structure.
- Assist DSCA Classifiers with administrative tasks associated with DSCU Classification as well as performing various HR duties.
Education / Certifications:
- Bachelors degree required
Experience:
- Must have HR experience
- Must be motivated and organized
- Must be familiar with HR processes and protocols
Skills & Technology Used:
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to details
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively (autonomy is key)
- Ability to work as necessary to meet customer needs
- Effective communication skills with an appreciation for the appropriate ways to interact with managers, coworkers, and customers
- Effective cross-organization collaboration abilities
- Strong MS Office Application skills
