Perry Fiberglass is currently seeking a Project Engineer in our Viera, FL office.

Perry Fiberglass is looking for a Project Engineer who can overcome obstacles and push a project forward. The ideal candidate can take direction, but is also self-motivated to complete tasks on their own.

In this role, responsibilities include:

• General project management skills to ensure that all projects are successful from start to finish.
• Selecting and submitting on purchased items such as pumps, control panels, fans, and other equipment.
• Document control – Review specifications, calculations, and other engineering documents.
• Generate product submittals with construction details and calculations.
• Assisting and supporting project team with daily project coordination duties.
• Working with outside Professional Engineers to ensure that the products being supplied meet all technical and engineer requirements.
• Pricing up the final design to ensure that projects are completed within budget.
• Communicate with our manufacturing facility to provide support and problem solving.

We are seeking entry-level candidates with the following qualifications:

• Previous experience in a project management or manufacturing internship is preferred but not required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent. (preferred but not required)
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills are required.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time.
• Strong follow up skills.
• Self-motivated.
