Position Description:

Sprezzatura seeks a Project Manager (PM) to join our growing team for a new effort. The scope of this effort is to provide project management support for:

• Supporting continuing efforts to develop, refine, produce, execute, maintain, and expand a CMS enterprise-wide transformation plan and curriculum for various audiences;
• Providing programs and teams with agile management, transformation, and coaching support in a range of supporting disciplines;
• Guiding a team to design, execute, and implement a series of pilots/trialing or innovative experimentation around cultural and/or technological transformation; as well as, running experiments around items that “bubble up”; and
• Operationalizing the successful pilots within CMS.
• Enterprise-wide agile transformation and workforce resilience
• Developing training initiatives for technical/business domains such as Artificial intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML); Cloud hosted solutions, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Human Centered Design, Leadership, Product Management, and introductory training to the CMS’s Office of Information Technology (OIT).

Roles/Responsibilities:

• Oversee Project Management and reporting activities.
• Serve as a liaison to multiple entities and stakeholder groups across CMS
• Overseeing the development and operations of multiple learning tracks
• Supporting enterprise planning efforts for training, agile transformation, and workforce resilience.
• Overseeing the quality of deliverables provided and adherence to performance standards
• Primary point of contact for issue resolutions and delivery

Minimal Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in either:
  • A: Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, a Mathematics-intensive discipline, or
  • B: A discipline supporting training, education, and/or instructional design
• At least ten years of government/contracting experience, including 5 years of progressive and intensive experience management, with at least 1 year of relevant experience in a position with duties commensurate to supporting the delivery of training and instructional design for IT learning tracks.
• Must be well organized with the ability to coordinate, prioritize and execute multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to work effectively with a variety of government and contractor personnel at all levels
• Understanding and experience with agile management and mentorship

Desirable Qualifications:

• Location: Proximity to Baltimore, Maryland
• Veterans especially welcome to apply
• Certification in disciplines such as PMI Project Management Professional, Instructional Design, eLearning, and Agile Development/Management/Mentorship is a plus.
• Experience supporting U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is a plus.
• Experience/capabilities in developing reports in Excel, Power BI, and similar tools.
