Job description
- Bid document review to determine scope (and clearly explain to management).
- Completing cost estimates (Including material pricing, subcontractor pricing, all other direct and indirect costs).
- ConEst software experience is highly recommended.
- Attending pre-bid and pre-construction meetings.
- Managing projects - Material purchasing, submittals, managing field crews, and equipment, calculating and submitting change orders, communicating with clients (Basically take care of everything from mobilization to final cleanup and demobilization).
- Developing and updating construction schedules.
- Working in a team environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- BS degree in Construction Management or related field preferred but not required depending on experience.
- 5 years of field experience is preferred, not required.
- Use of estimating and scheduling software, Microsoft Office products.
- Verifiable project references are required.
