The Project Manager, a member of the Enterprise Project Management Office, is responsible for the management of all aspects of assigned projects which vary in complexity and delivery approach, including waterfall, hybrid, and agile. The project manager assures that assigned projects have clear alignment to strategic priorities and leads the delivery of results that align with scope, schedule, budget, and benefit expectations. The Project Manager will collaborate cross-functionally to determine project deliverables, define timelines and budgets, proactively manage issues and risks, lead project teams in creating deliverables, communicate project status, and advise executive sponsors regarding project-related decisions.
Primary Responsibilities:

Collaboratively manage relationships between senior business unit leaders and departmental leaders and team members, effectively defining the scope of a project and driving the creation of the cost/benefit analysis and delivery KPI’s.

Develop and maintain both high level delivery roadmaps and detailed work plans, based on agreed scope and in liaison with the project team and stakeholders.

Focus on the delivery of customer value and and maximizing return on investment, with an emphasis on incremental delivery.

Facilitate meetings to ensure the project team is aligned on expectations and clear on project action items and decision points.

Create a stakeholder communication strategy for assigned projects and share timely, relevant, and accurate project health information

Identify and manage risks and issues throughout the life of a project. Ensure all stakeholders and project team members are aware of the risks and the appropriate response actions taken to minimize the impact or likelihood of occurrence.

Create an environment that fosters innovation and challenges the status quo

Maintain metric-based project reporting across all activities and projects

Organize the project retrospective session after completion of the project; with appropriate parties and ensure that lessons learned are documented according to EPMO best practice procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. / B.S.) in business or technical-related field
-
5+ years of project management experience
-
Strong leadership and communication skills
-
Proven success in managing large-scale projects and holding business owners accountable to performance metrics

Strong business acumen
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
-
Experience with Agile delivery approaches (industry-recognized certification preferred)
-
Proficiency in Google applications preferred

Experience in the education field preferred
