Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Manager II to support the Office of Connected Care (OCC) at the Department of Veterans Affairs. The OCC brings VA digital technology to veterans and health care professionals, extending access to care beyond the traditional office visit. Through virtual technology, VA can deliver care to patients where and when they need it. In this role, you will provide project oversight and be responsible for the success of the effort. You will have specific programmatic and/or technical experience in the areas covered in the contractual effort. Your strong problem-solving skills will help you address technical, administrative, and managerial challenges while ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget. Responsibilities:
- Provide project oversight and ensure the success of the contractual effort.
- Utilize specific programmatic and/or technical experience to effectively manage projects within the designated area.
- Solve technical, administrative, and managerial problems, adjusting strategies and resources as necessary.
- Interface with the customer's technical point of contact to ensure that tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, regularly monitoring progress and adjusting as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, facilitating communication and coordination to achieve project goals.
- Present project status updates and reports to stakeholders, including senior management and clients.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of professional experience in project management.
- Specific programmatic and/or technical experience in the areas covered by the contractual effort.
- Proven ability to solve technical, administrative, and managerial problems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- MS Office suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Outlook, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have experience managing programs in the VA - OR - Have experience managing VA telehealth or VA home health - OR - Have experience in a commercial setting in the management or development of digital health products and/or programs
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.
- Experience working with government agencies or in the health care industry.
- Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
- Experience in managing virtual or telehealth projects.

Eligibility:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for this role
Compensation:
Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.
Salary range: $80,000 - $94,000
