Location: AP30 - ONSITE / Hybrid - Needs to have someone who can come into the office as needed. Has flexibility in start and end times, as well as flex to work hybrid 3 onsite / 2 remote.

Call Notes and Highlights:

• Good, strong, detail-oriented project manager to assist team.
• Lead several Small team of 14 individuals, entire team is currently highly focused on multiple initiatives as well as steady state responsibilities.
• They would help to keep all projects on track and to assist with reporting to various areas throughout the organization asking for updates to the projects.
• These are non-IT projects.
• It is projects assessing contract and purchasing, services and investment opportunities and planning the same.
• Someone capable of keeping their eye on 10 – 20 initiatives in play and that items are getting done.
• JIRA/Confluence used for management of projects.
• Any experience in using JIRA is a plus, should also be strong in Excel and PPT.
• Need to be able to jump in and be a self-starter, influencer, collaborator and work well with team.
• Folks are busy, has to be able to be creative in getting results and responses to project steps.
• Be supportive in getting information.
• Should be able to report at a senior level.
• PMP is not required, but a high level PM is needed.
• Pharma background is not needed nor required.
• They do outsourcing; strategy, contracting, on going governance, risk management. Experience with these things would be great.
• These are NOT IT projects. They support IT outsourcing, but do not do IT projects.
• She does NOT want a candidate who needs hand holding.
• Wants an experience, PM that can see what is needed and jump in to get it done.
• Manages/directs the activities associated with small to large scale projects with a focus on any or several non-IT business applications and disciplines.
• Manage/direct all facets of single or multiple, multidimensional, mission-critical projects through the Full Project Life Cycle.
• Collaborate/work with project sponsors, business units and users to identify project scope and focus, develop or monitor project initiatives, implement project requirements/plans/processes/tools, assign/guide/monitor project staff, and assure project success.
• Deliver quality project solutions to business problems or issues within defined budgets and/or timelines.
• Provide expert project guidance/support proactively through project completion.
• Provide tracking, reporting, and presentation to management and users.
• 10+ years experience

Years of experience/education and/or certifications required: Min of 10 Plus years with PM. More concerned with solid PM experience than education.

What are the top 3-5 skills requirements should this person have?

• Excel Proficiency, PowerPoint and Presentation fluence, Intermediate to Advanced levels, JIRA/Confluence

Project Manager

• Any strong Project Manager – that has led large initiatives will most likely be qualified for this position.
• Looking for resource that calls themselves a Project Management professional not a Procurement/Supply Chain/Outsourcing professional.
• So, not just a Procurement/Supply Chain/Outsourcing professional that leads those types of projects.

Open to someone with 100% remote work? There will be a need to be onsite and in person with the team from time to time. Someone who is looking for 100% remote work, will most likely not be a good fit.

Specific background around business lines: Supply Chain, Pharma, might be helpful. But again, a good, solid PM should be able to step in and do this work. Unless they are looking for a purely PM role, they would be fine. This is not a pure PM role.

Educational requirements:

• 20 years of experience is more important than an educational degree.
