Position Summary As the Senior Business Analyst - Portfolio Management, your mission will be to align the prioritization of IT portfolios with the strategic needs of business partners and the capabilities and capacity of Gallagher Bassett Information Technology (GBIT). You will be responsible for leading the Portfolio Management team; communications with business partners; ensuring planned projects meet the business needs of their intended end-user populations; and communicating the benefits realized by delivered IT projects. You must possess outstanding interpersonal skills, think strategically, and be able to operate in a highly ambiguous environment. This role offers rich opportunities to develop as a leader, problem solver, and strategic planner. There will be frequent opportunities to interact and influence senior decision makers. Responsibilities: Leads IT prioritization cycles Communicates the status of the Business Unit Portfolios Participates in the creation and execution of the strategic investment plan Identifies business needs and works with business leaders to develop solutions Measures, monitors, and runs business stakeholder satisfaction; develops and manages action plans to improve as applicable Develops, coordinates, and markets communications to improve understanding of the business value and technical capabilities of GBIT systems Collaborates across Business Units and the Enterprise PMO to ensure coordinated and consistent program delivery, shares insights, issues, risks, dependencies, and continuous improvement opportunities Maintains technical and business roadmaps based on deep knowledge of business and technology priorities Responsible for the professional growth, development, and performance management of the Portfolio Management team Qualifications: Required Qualifications: 7+ years of relevant experience and experience leading and mentoring small teams Experience in business architecture, business analysis, or strategic planning Outstanding interpersonal skills (individual, team, organization and leadership level), both written and verbal Desired Qualifications: Project Management and delivery of large programs strongly preferred Prior claims management experience Certification of Proficiency in Business Analysis or Certified Business Analyst Professional US.
