Job Summary
- The Project Specialist is responsible for the coordination and completion of assigned projects, including project definition, assignment of task responsibilities, setting deadlines, monitoring expenses and all other aspects of project management.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or other related field is preferred.
- One year related experience and/or training in a formal Project Specialist or Project Management role is preferred.
- Experience managing multiple projects with complex work streams, work packages and deliverables.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, MS Outlook, MS Visio, MS Project (or similar).
- An understanding of the project lifecycle and change management.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Certification in project management preferred.
- This position requires a valid driver’s license and that the employee is insurable by the Avera Health automobile liability insurance carrier.
Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm; 80 hours every 2 weeks
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $23.75 - $36.00 per hour
