Job description
Within the spirit of "Making People's Dreams Come True," this position supports staff to ensure appropriate procedures are followed in the daily operations of Site Development with McDonough Development Services. Coordinate and direct the daily operations and communications with outside vendors and subcontractors. This position is also responsible for delivering Raving Fans customer service to both internal and external customers.
Full-Time
Salary commensurate with experience starting at $71,858.80 per year.
Responsibilities:
- Meet Building Pad ready and completion dates.
- Coordinate Survey staking.
- Schedule Site inspections with City & County on Units, Roadways & Commercial Sites, etc.
- Schedule Walk-Thru's with MDS & Jacobs
- Solve grading and issues with concrete subcontractor - site contractor.
- Water services ready for meters.
- Witness Pressure testing on sanitary, potable water and irrigation lines by contractor.
- Coordinate with Fencing Contractor
- Approve Change Orders and Invoices.
- Communicate with Contractor on scheduling.
- Coordinate transformer heat-up.
- Schedule Hardscape - Landscape.
- Coordinate sequence of Site Work - Revisions.
- Repair Depressions.
- Locate SECO Pull Boxes.
- Misc., Fencing, Emails, Phone Calls.
- Coordinate Tree Trimming and tree protection with contractors & MPA.
- Drainage - Washout Issues.
- Washouts in Ponds and sod replacement.
- Video Inspection of Storm - Sanitary Mains - Repairs if necessary.
- Assist in Bridge Openings.
- Under Drain Pipe Install.
- Assist in Well abandonment and new well installs, if necessary.
- Supervise install and removal of silt fence, barb and hog wire.
- Ensure inlet protections are installed and maintained during construction.
- Work with site contractor in scheduling Joint Trench Dates for Units, Roadways, etc.
- Coordinate tree trimming.
- Coordinate with MDS and Contractor road closed placement and installing for road openings.
- Ensure all landscaping is installed before sales.
- Dewatering pipe issues
- Coordinate punch list completion with contractor.
- Coordinate staking of transformers and light poles
- Handling Homeowner Issues.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Fifth year college or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Florida Lien laws.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
