Job description

As a Service Technician, you will perform maintenance to ensure the physical aspects of the units, grounds, amenities, and common areas of the property meet the Company’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality

• Performs assigned work orders, as well as preventative maintenance on the property
• Completes the “make-ready” process to prepare vacant units for leasing and new move-ins
• Assists in maintaining the grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash and debris
• Documents work orders in a timely, accurate, and complete fashion to ensure proper tracking
• Maintains proper inventory of materials, supplies, equipment, tools, and other items
• Ensures to consistently provide a high level of customer service to tenants, vendors and staff
• Remains available for “on-call” duties as needed
• Removing trash from site grounds daily
• Cleaning make-readies
• Perform basic electrical repairs
• Perform basic plumbing repairs
• Perform painting, patching, and sheetrock repairs
• Perform asic carpentry repairs
• Replace VCT flooring
• Repair damaged subflooring
• Sand and finish hardwood floors
• Eye for detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Hamden, CT: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
