Title: Property Manager
Status: Hourly, 40 Hours a week
Supervisor: Executive Director
Location: Fairmont, WV
Job Overview: The Fairmont Community Development Partnership (FCDP) Property
Manager is responsible for the direct management oversight of the full inventory of 50+ commercial/residential properties. Duties also include attracting and retaining new, qualified tenants through creative advertising, lead follow up, property viewings and encouraging referrals, processing applications, including interviewing tenants, running background checks and completing application and move-in paperwork, maintaining tenant and property records, coordinating vendors and maintaining tenant relations. The property manager will also assist the executive director in maintaining bookkeeping through quickbooks.8585868 The property manager is also responsible for monthly account reconciliations and offering financial guidance to the executive director and board of directors.
Property Manager duties and responsibilities:
- Ensures team collaboration
- Advises the executive director of the status of the tenants as well as vacant properties
- Promotes public awareness of the Partnership
- Ensure proper reporting of rent payments
- Screen and place tenants
- Uses QuickBooks to ensure proper bookkeeping
- Collect rent payments and security deposits and record in Rent Vine
- Oversees HOME Rental Program
- Submits required documentation to WVHDF
- Leases Commercial, Market Rate & Affordable Rentals
- Conducts Tenant Advertising and Recruitment in compliance with Affirmative Fair Housing Marketing Plan
- Processes Annual Tenant recertification and leases
- Conducts Tenant Move Out, City and Housing Authority Property inspections
- Maintains Tenant relations/communications
- Enters Property Management Bookkeeping
- Establish and maintain relationships and communication with vendors
- Enter receivables and payables in QuickBooks and ensures payments are made
- Continued communication with local housing authority and assistance with compliance
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or similar degree, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and G-Suite
- Proficiency in QuickBooks
- Professional communication skills
- The ability to work autonomously
- Financial management experience, ability to develop a budget and run financial reports
- Knowledge of budgets and being able to work within budget parameters
- Have familiarity with federal, state, and city regulations for housing

- Affordable housing experience
- Housing development experience
- Demonstrated experience in compliance with Federal regulations
