Our energetic team of professionals is seeking an experienced and committed person to serve as Property Manager for North Shore community properties.
Property Manager
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year (based on experience)

Summary:
The ideal candidate for this role will be part accountant, part attorney, part carpenter and electrician, a generalist who understand the legalities of leases and landlord/tenant law, while possessing strong EQ skills. You’ll have the opportunity to help build this role up by establishing your own unique systems of compliance and maintenance, while enjoying the freedom of working in the local North Shore community, avoiding much of the commuter traffic of the greater Boston Area. Essential Responsibilities of the Property Manager:
- Maintain Standardized Housing expectations, enforcing those standards in a systematic manner including monitoring tenant salaries to assure they are in acceptable range.
- Maintain compliance with Federal requirements for Section 8 housing
- Familiarity with qualification and application of Section 42 credits
- Oversee, maintain, and inspect all designated buildings and properties
- Coordinate ongoing maintenance and inspections to comply with all relevant laws, codes, and company policies
- Select tenants through interviews and background checks
- Collect rent, pay invoices, and analyze operating statements
- Prepare the annual budget and report on financial performance regularly
- Manage on-site staff, and vendor and contractor relationships
- Address tenant complaints, violations, and problems
- Prepare and maintain all records, correspondence, and files
- Establish and maintain relationships with tenants
Qualifications for Property Manager
- Bachelor's degree highly preferred; equivalent work experience in property management will be considered
- CPM, RPA, or RAM designation preferred
- 5 years of experience in property management
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to comply with operational policies and procedures, codes, and regulations
- Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English
- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Strong familiarity and working knowledge of affordable housing laws and anti-discrimination legislation.

Covid-19 Considerations:
- HCP follows CDC and local board of health guidelines. As such, wearing of masks, closure of common areas, and remote work may be reinstated as needed.
- Provide consistent communication regarding safety protocols or vaccination information to residents via telephone or email.
- Conduct occasional wellness calls with residents and supporting documentation.
- Stay informed of emerging supports, policy changes, and potential challenges during the public health crisis.
- Assist in delivering groceries and home delivered meals (HDMs) to residents as needed.
- Actively comply with all public health guidance.
- Ability to work remotely and manage time efficiently.
