This position is full time, regular, non-exempt level, and works (in-person) in our Towson corporate office. Work hours are 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Additional hours may be required to accomplish the organizational and departmental mission.
This position supports the department needs and WBCM Mission by:
- Organizing, writing, and responding to Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and Sources Sought Notices;
- Planning and developing presentations;
- Facilitating/attending kickoff meetings to define expectations, identify tasks, assign responsibilities, and managing adherence to proposal schedule;
- Attending pre-proposal conferences/debriefings;
- Developing strategic themes for proposal responses and presentations;
- Collaborating with top executives, project management staff, and business development directors on a broad range of requests;
- Proofreading resumes, projects, and technical content;
- Maintaining project opportunities, project descriptions, contacts, and clients in Deltek Vision;
- Partnering with marketing peers to share information and assisting colleagues in meeting deadlines;
- Performing other reasonably related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
The qualifications/skills you will bring to WBCM:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, English, Journalism or other field of study. Relevant experience and industry certification may be considered in lieu of educational qualifications;
- 2 to 5 years of professional experience working in a similar fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, preparing proposals and custom letters of interest; experience in A/E/C industry with SF 255 and SF 330 forms is highly desired;
- Strong time management and organizational skills;
- Well-spoken with excellent written communication skills;
- Self-motivated and dependable;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office Suite, and Deltek Vision; experience with Adobe Creative Cloud is highly desired;
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and clean driving record acceptable to the policies of WBCM.
