Job description

This position is responsible for growing the Evernorth Behavioral Health Network thru identifying qualified health care professionals in a geographic area and through outbound and inbound phone calls, develops and maintains positive relationships with providers and their office staff extending high quality service.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Processes provider screening applications.
Verifying and vetting information and sending a provider onboarding packet/contract
Helps providers understand the recruiting/onboarding process and assists them with any onboarding issues
Responsible for identifying qualified behavioral providers in a geographic area and through outbound phone calls and emails, develops and maintains high quality service with providers and their office staff
Works to negotiate competitive and cost-effective pricing and obtains contracts with providers to meet health plan needs
Explaining the plan's policies and procedures to providers,
Resolving complaints and disputes
Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures

Minimum Requirements:
Applicant must have 1 year or more experience in an a medical office or insurance related field.
Skills required are strong phone, communication, and analytical abilities. Self-directed problem-solving skills are a must.
Candidate must have the ability to navigate a computerized data entry system or other relevant applications for tracking, information gathering, and / or troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
Team player with proven ability to develop strong working relationships within a fast-paced, matrix organization
Customer centric and interpersonal skills are required.
Superior problem solving, decision-making, negotiating skills, contract language and financial acumen.
Demonstrated experience in seeking out, building and nurturing strong external relationships with provider partners.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 24 - 36 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
