We Require
-
Valid, unrestricted psychologist license, issued by the Arizona State Board of Psychologist Examiners
-
Two years of experience in psychological evaluation, administration, and interpretation of psychological tests
-
Meeting requirements for supervision of associate-level licensed and unlicensed staff with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners and the Arizona Board of Psychologist Examiners
We Also Value

One or more years of experience supervising other clinical staff

Experience in correctional healthcare

Experience triaging internal and external referrals

Experience coordinating the completion of Mental Health Petitions with community providers

Bilingual skills in Spanish and English
Job Contributions
-
Provide psychological evaluation, consultation, and treatment of patients
-
Track and monitor mental health unit admissions, including staffing cases with unlicensed mental health staff prior to admission
-
Establish effective, sustainable, integrated, and collaborative suicide prevention and intervention approaches and practices applicable to all mental health staff roles
-
Review the acute, SMI, and clinical cases requiring a higher skill set, such as death penalty and closed custody cases, and support documentation for performance and care
-
Provide clinical supervision for licensed and unlicensed mental health staff assigned to the outpatient setting
-
Participate in or conduct Grand Rounds or Complex Case meetings with staff, medical providers, community providers, residents, and medical students assigned by the Mental Health Director
Working Conditions

Ability to work inside a jail environment, consisting of working near inmates and other staff and indoors in a confined area.
