Job description
Psychotherapist
Established in 2013, the Eating Disorder Center of Montana (EDCMT) offers outpatient, intensive outpatient (IOP) and partial hospitalization program (PHP/day treatment) levels of care. Our multidisciplinary team includes a psychiatrist, psychotherapists, a music therapist, registered dietitians, a nurse practitioner, registered nurses, a house chef, and yoga-trained milieu therapistsall of whom support EDCMTs mission to light the way out of eating disorders, freeing patients to live wholeheartedly. We treat all genders, ages 16 and older, in support of our vision of creating a future where every patient can live out loud, having overcome their eating disorder through wide-open access to compassionate, expert patient care. Our newest location in Missoula offers outpatient and intensive outpatient levels of care.
At EDCMT, knowing that treating patients with eating issues is complex, our clinicians are supported in ongoing learning opportunities to reinforce their existing competencies. We provide a rich professional development policy to build upon or complement our existing evidenced based experiential dynamic therapy model. We value therapists with a growth mindset, who are excited to continuously hone their existing skills in working with patients across the spectrum of types and acuity of eating disorders. Our goal is to empower each patient on a path to full recovery from both the mental and physical attributes of their eating disorder.
The staff therapist position welcomes those who are warm, organized, grounded and self-motivated to apply. This person will be comfortable conducting clinical assessments, individual and family therapy, and leading psychoeducational and therapy groups. Duties include conducting intake assessments, case conceptualization, risk assessments, and determining referral needs. Candidates will have knowledge of mental health law and ethical standards of the mental health professions, the ability to maintain strict standards of confidentiality, have knowledge of clinical diagnoses as reflected in the DSM-5-TR, and the ability to maintain records in a thorough and timely fashion in our EMR.
A minimum of one year of clinical experience is required, and a diverse career background is welcome.
Required credentials include a PhD, PsyD, LCPC, LMFT, or LCSW who is fully licensed or licensed-eligible for one of these disciplines, in Montana. The pay range for this position is $60k-$80k, DOE and credentials. EDCMT is proud to offer options for either a 32-hour or a 35-hour work week for all full-time clinicians. Salaried employment benefits include a retirement plan, a flexible/unlimited time PTO policy, professional development stipend, cell phone reimbursement as well as medical, dental, and vision benefits. EDCMT will assist with relocation fees.
